Graphic Stuttering, Product of Overclocking?

I'm trying to figure out my overclocking potential with my NW 1.6A chip. I have the Epox 4bda2+ (i845D) with pc2700 Mushkin. I am also using an old geforce 2 gts 32mb. Now how does one determine what voltage to run the CPU at? I have it set at 1.525v (133fsb=2.13GHz) and sometimes 3dmark 2001se runs smoothly, other times it stutters a bit. I play around with the voltages and 3dmark would run smoothly a few times and then stutter afterward.. or at certain voltages it would just stuttering from the beginning. The same problem applies when i'm testing different speeds. The strange thing is that it sometimes even happens at stock speed (1.6). However, I can run prime95 during all the tests with no problems at all. Any thoughts?

Then it's probably that old GF2. If you're running 32-bit color benchmarks, then it definitely is. The 32 MB GF2 gets the cramps a lot when displaying 32-bit color scenes.

I think you are right. I just ran 3dmark at 16bits while running prime 95 and it didn't stutter. Time for another videocard.

Yep, the old GF2 GTSs lack the memory bandwidth to deal with 32-bit color. Time for a GF4? :)
