Guys I need your views on these three questions:-

Q 1 :- I want to ask can I play each & every games on 9800GTX at a resolution of 1280X1024 for next 3 years or not, if not than for how much time can I play each & every games on 9800GTX at this resolution?

Q 2 :- I want to ask for how much time can I play each & every games on 9800GX2 at a resolution of 1280X1024.

Q 3 :- I want tot ask can I play each & every games on 9800GX2 at a resolution of 1680X1050 for next 3 years or not, if not than for how much time can I play each & every games on 9800GX2 at this resolution?

I know guys that these questions may sound stupid but I need your views on it.

"Every" game? No. Look at what Crysis does to those cards now. Someone will do Crysis one better, or will just create an incompetent engine for a game you want.

Also, "every" game doesn't matter, it's every game that you want to play. Since I don't care about Crysis I'm still doing fine with my 7900GTX from 2 years ago, but I might upgrade to the 9900 before the end of the year as part of a new system.

You might either wait a few months for the new cards, or just buy something that's good enough for current games and expect to upgrade it in another year or two.

Good luck trying to last on one graphics card for 3 years nowadays, things are only getting more demanding.

1. Nobody knows, we can only make educated guesses and mine would be probably not.
2. Depends on what game it is, Crysis is bearable at max 1280x1024 with a GX2, but nobody can determine what performance will be like with future games.
3. Probably not.

It sounds like you are perhaps considering purchasing a GX2? I would wait for the RV770/GT200 to hit before making a decision. They are due very soon (few months away) and in all likelihood outperform a GX2 in a single GPU form factor.

but bro aren't RV770/GT200 from ATI?

Ati has its major weak point in the form of drivers isn't?

The RV770 is the codename for ATI's next gen product while the GT200 is Nvidia's codename for their next gen product. And no, ATI's drivers are excellent IMO- just have a look at the poll and discussion in this thread.

Nobody really knows when they will be released but have a look at the two threads stickied at the top of this forum, the rumor is retail availability in June. Pricing is yet unknown but I wouldn't imagine pricing being above that of a GX2. Bottom line is wait a while so you can make the best informed decision- especially if you are looking at the high end.

We probably have no more idea about the future state of graphics cards than you do. We're not prophets, here.
