Grand Theft Auto V : PC edition preorder spotted on Amazon.de

If history is anything to go by, expect a poor performing port that will eventually be fixed somewhat and then later on improved even more thanks to fan mods.

I bought it for the 360, and stopped after playing through about half of it.

The multiplayer is a joke. You can make several thousand dollars on a job, but then EVERY time you die, you lose cash - even when playing deathmatch believe it or not (who would pay real money for in-game money otherwise I guess). Pub play is waiting for some camper to kill you; and playing with friends is doing the same 'job' over and over and over and over - best one I found paid $12,000 (many cars and houses are in the millions of dollars- each).

Single was decent, some fun missions like the bank jobs, and Trevor is interesting, but overall the game is much like 4, a gigantic pretty set piece with scattered with things you can interact with; most of them like Yoga, something I'd only do if a mission called for it.

Pretty much

I caved and got it on the PS3 and so far haven't really regretted it. Being a long term PC gamer I get distracted by texture pop in and bad aliasing of ps3 games when I go back to them, but I actually haven't had many problems with GTA5. Looks and plays good enough to get lost in the game.

Won't Pre-Order, probably pick up soon after. I'll wait to see the condition of it for sure, but this is a must have game.

I played through it on X360, but if it's done right it's a sure thing for me too. I don't care about multiplayer, so that won't factor in.

Awesome, I hope we get to see it within Q1 at least. Hope its a decent port at the very least.

If the rumors or past history hold true we should see it before end of Q1 given the usual 6 month time frame from Console to PC launch.
