Gran Turismo 6

I am sure that millions of people will go crazy for this announcement, but it is going to be a pass for me. I didn't care for GT5 at all, and when you stack this up against the next gen racer (either Forza or PGR), I just don't think it will look as good.

Lol. Sony does keep Polyphony on too long a leash because GT sells so well. Though this was before they had serious competition in the racing sim genre.

I really didn't enjoy GT5. It's not a terrible game but the AI problems and the grinding really killed it for me.

That was my issue too. But I was also pretty burnt out on facing games because I had played through so much Forza. I haven't played a racing game in probably two years if not more, so by the time this comes out I may be really interested in the genre again.

Which from my initial view of it and a bit of reading on what they are doing with that game, it'll be tons better than anything GT6 can hope. I say this purely from the perspective of someone who plays the game. I don't race cars in real life so I have no concept of what is accurate simulation and what isn't.
 
This worries me a lot that its coming out on PS3... I would have preferred its graphics to be too intense for it.. le sigh
