Looked like he just wanted some air/stage time, is all. If he really went up there before Norah Jones announced the winner, he must've been up there a long time, cause it took them like 20-30 seconds for EV to get up there after the announcement and he only appeared at the speech - EV was surprised by him only then. Either way, he's an idiot for doing it.

And it was pretty rude of Amy Lee not to really acknowledge the rest of her band from the moment she got up from her seat.
