Grammar nazis: Usage of "been"

Dude, when people talk, they don't need to talk perfectly. Only time grammar matters is when writing professionally.

Just as much as it annoys you when people don't speak grammatically perfect, it annoys me when you're just shooting the shit and someone is pretentious and tries to correct your grammar. Who cares.

The rodeo statement is just plain wrong. It crashes teh two parts of the sentance together in a way that does not lead to an easily implied article.

"Been" what?

Been there?
Been stoned?
Been drunk?
Been gored?

If you do not have something, as said by others, that this is relating to, such as:

Bill, have you ever been drunk at an event?

Tom, no I've never been during the rodeo.

Of course, "during the rodeo" is also an odd conglomeration. While it is correct, for some reason it is rarely addressed that way. It just does not sound right....
