So what's your opinion on the prohibition era? Ban alcohol to MAGA? Because there's no reason why alcohol shouldn't be treated the same,using your logic. Alcohol is mass producible, addictive, and deadly.
Or do you not see the parallels between the prohibition era and our current "war on drugs"?
They see the hypocrisy of their stance; they just refuse to acknowledge it because their preferred drug is “legal”, so there!
Never mind the violence, lawlessness, murder that ensued from the cartels (Al Capone, Lucky Luciano, Machine Gun Kelly, Meyer Lansky, et al) that were created to “address” prohibition—eerily similar to what’s happening today—and is today almost revered…both the “good guys” like Elliot Ness and the aforementioned mobsters.
Utter hypocrites but they seem to cherish that. Gives just another thing the cons use as a device to look down on POC. Why is powder cocaine treated differently than crack in charge severity and sentencing guidelines if not directed at specific groups? Pls correct me if I’m incorrect, but aren’t they both cocaine?
