I agree, the guy has a great record and managed pretty well. Other than the one decision (which I will agree was a HORRIBLE decision and warrants him getting reamed on) he was done pretty well. What would people have said if he would have pulled Pedro and then the bullpen would have given up the game?

That's easy everybody in NE area knows that the bullpen was horrible before the playoffs. They would have accepted it considering a lack of closer.

He's a terrible coach when push comes to shove, leaving Pedro on the mound while he's huffing and puffing in *GAME 7* is inexcusable, EVERYONE knows that Embree should've been brought in when Matsui came up to bat...

He's been taking Todd Walker out of games in like 7th or 8th inning because of his "lacking" defense, when we NEEDED his bat at the end of the game, terrible move every time he did it

he just made bad moves left and right, and I knew it while he was making them, I'm not looking back and just realizing it
 
pulling out veritek and ortiz in game7 was also a very very stupid move. Who the heck asks a pitcher if he is tired, nobody is ever gonna say "yes take me out".
