I know that what you do in graduate school doesn't really have to match up with what your undergraduate major was. For example, my brother majored in Mechanical Engineering but got his MBA at the same school.
Is there any sort of general guide as to which majors can lead to which graduate programs? I would assume my brother's scenario is acceptable but that a Philosophy major couldn't really get into grad school for a Master's in Biotechnology.
I was trying to find a site that lays it out for me in simple terms but maybe that just isn't possible.
