I would go for the Leadtek 6600GT, I've heard bad things about the MSI's cooler coming loose.

Cobalt, I read that from this site about the heatsink coming loose. I think the 6600gt card will be enough for what I want to do. I am not tring to get the best of the best but I would like to have high quality products that are stable and not break.

The 6600GT is enough for most games I would assume, plays BF2, etc great for me. I have the Leadtek 6600GT PCI-Express. I was going for the MSI till I read the review here and some other buyer reviews at NewEgg. Any negative had the same complaint about the heatsink coming loose after a while.

Well I wanted to play some racing sims, like the NASCAR sim and the F1 sim. Along with some other games but those types of games I love. Loooking for a great driving wheel for this computer too. Anyway, i think i get the 6600GT from LeadTek.

Anybody have any info about the driving wheel for racing games????

Hi superflymx6, I have the exact same spec as yours except the case and psu. I am thinking of the TT Tsunami. It comes with a 400W power supply.

Regarding the MoBo, there is a thread under the motherboard forum that compares DFI, ASUS, MSI and Gigabyte SLI motherboard. Originally, I wasn't thinking about buying an SLI board until I saw that thread. The MSI SLI comes with SB Live built-in. Also, the extra PCI-e 16x can be used for some other PCI-e card if you want to. Therefore, you are not wasting your money. Plus, it is only like $40 more than other non-SLI board. I think it is a good buy. It is just my own opinion.

Regarding PSU/CASE, I am still debating what to get. Should I get the Antec Sonata II that comes with 450W PS. However, I really like the look of the TT cases.

Almost everyone at aT hates TT. Get the antec sonata 2 or antec clk300b +fortron BS 500

Why is that? I think their cases are pretty nice(I know some are too much, those are exceptions). Is it the case of the PSU that people don't like? Anybody on this board is using Sonata II. If so, are they better than the first version?

Some of their cases are okay, but the design has never been too good. They are generally noisy and hot.

MOBOs

Its come down to those two, I dont see much difference in the specs.
I see the following difereeneces:

NEO4/SLI Platinum
  • Audio Ports 5 jacks 6 jacks

Max LAN Speed 10/100/1000Mbps Dual 10/100/1000Mbps

    Onboard USB Connectors 4x USB2.0 (2x headers) 6x USB2.0 (3x headers)

    2 x SATA2
Additional SATA RAID - RAID 0/1 JBOD
Second LAN Chipset - Marvell 88E8053
    Second LAN Speed - 10/100/1000Mbps
    USB - 4x USB2.0
I am leaning toward the NEO4/SLI board after i research SLI more this week.

this post didnot lay out like i thought it would, it should have been in columns, SOrry about that but the link at the tops shows the differences.

I like the Thermaltake cases, I have read great reviews from this case. Not sure about the PSU though since the newegg.com shows the P/N as w0066 and I dont see that PSU on their website, anybody know what the deal is with that??

I have looked around and read some reviews about the driving wheels but still not picked one out, yet do you guys have a choice???

Was about to get the same psu/case (TT soprano) still getting the case becuase of great cooling ( 2x120mm, 1x90mm) and decent looks (ii hate the look of sonatas)

I decided to pick up that case without psu and chose the antec smart power 500 watt (modular, dual 12v rails with 33a total, antec branded)

rods comment about the soprano psu was false. That is not the same psu. Heres a pic of the specs of the psu with the soprano case.

Soprano PS

18a on +12v, which will hold up your system fine, becuase you chose not to have the SLi mobo. If you plan to OC, get something a litte more powerful, like the smartpower.

I also noticed you metioned the xion 2 case, has pretty much the same cooling as the tt soprano, almost the same psu. heres a pic of the specs

Xion 2 psu

Personally I would choose the TT over the xion. If you really want to be sure about your power, choose the soprano w/ no ps, get something like the samrt power listed above.
