MIS will open more doors for me but CS will only solidify what I already have. MIS will also help me finally get in to a managerial position 🙂.

how much can an MBA increase ones salary? Say if they currently make 55K, what would an MBA boost them up to, on average?

Personally, I'd probably go for MIS. My proffessors are always telling me that grad-level CS is nothing but theory, and theory simply gives me a headache. I'm much better at hands-on type things. I'm in the last couple of classes before I graduate with a CS degree myself, and I've really been struggling in a few of them over the last semester.
