@Perknose You forgot the link where you can buy them:
https://www.dietzandwatsonstore.com/
Dietz and Watson are local to my area. I don't need no stinkin' net, they'll be in the stores here.

"The original facility was located next to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge on the Delaware River in Philadelphia."

“Everbest Brand Meat Delicacies” became “Dietz & Watson” in 1945 and moved to a new location in Camden, N.J."

" In 1975, we set our sights on a larger, more modern facility and moved to our current location in Northeast Philadelphia"

People mention them like they're some sort of icon, but I don't consider their meats premium anything.

And what about the rest of us? Have you had their Landjaeger sausage, and how is it?

Nah. I know them mostly as purveyors of middle of the road deli meats. Sadly, they're not Italian and so come up short in this respect, imho. My area is the birthplace of the hoagie, so you'd best bring your A game with your genoa salami, your sopresatta , your sharp and your sweet capricolo, your prosciutto, and so forth.

I'm not a huge sausage guy in general -- he said with a knowing leer -- except for maybe some sublime French concoctions that I've had, featuring huge chunks of garlic and other spices therein.

I don't want to come across as elitist . . . I occasionally stop in at Taco Bell and Wendys, ffs . . . but a good hoagie all but demands Italian inspired deli meats and sadly (for me), in many places, even around here, ya got yet Dietz, ya got yer Watson, and obviously lesser human beings than me erroneously think that's nirvana, the peasants! ;)

I thought snack companies would be all over my bold ideas that venture 'outside the box.' Maybe I should have contacted Deitz and Watson about my "Nuts and Gum" snack concept. So far no takers. Knew I should have used a testicle motif.
