They're meat nuts from Dietz and Watson and the idea just fell into their lap. Brilliant!
Dietz and Watson are local to my area. I don't need no stinkin' net, they'll be in the stores here.
"The original facility was located next to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge on the Delaware River in Philadelphia."
“Everbest Brand Meat Delicacies” became “Dietz & Watson” in 1945 and moved to a new location in Camden, N.J."
" In 1975, we set our sights on a larger, more modern facility and moved to our current location in Northeast Philadelphia"
And what about the rest of us? Have you had their Landjaeger sausage, and how is it?Dietz and Watson are local to my area. I don't need no stinkin' net, they'll be in the stores here.
People mention them like they're some sort of icon, but I don't consider their meats premium anything.
Nah. I know them mostly as purveyors of middle of the road deli meats. Sadly, they're not Italian and so come up short in this respect, imho. My area is the birthplace of the hoagie, so you'd best bring your A game with your genoa salami, your sopresatta , your sharp and your sweet capricolo, your prosciutto, and so forth. And what about the rest of us? Have you had their Landjaeger sausage, and how is it?
Nope, its Landjager sausage:I beg your pardon....did you say Lumberjack sausage?????
