GPUZ showing PWR THRM VREL for a second after starting Unigine Heaven.

When i start some game or benchmark GPUZ sometimes ( not always, depend on run ) showing perfcap PWRThrmVREL during first seconds after starting game or benchmark. After a moment stabilize and will be Vrel to infinity.
Temps of GPU are fine 50C , so i dont know why it sometimes ( not always, depend on run ) showing PWRThrmVREL during only first seconds after starting some 3d. Is this GPUZ bug?

Anyway it doesnt impact on performance. TDP ,clocks, temps are normal during this moment like you see on a screen. Any ideas?.

If i restart pc, then PwrThrmVrel dissapear and i have only VREL even after beggining of game/benchmark. Any reason why restart cured this again?
So restarting cure this perfcap reason and i have only VREL at beggining of benchmark. Any ideas?

Card is Gigabyte Gtx 1080 Xtreme. Is this issue with my card ?

Mine just reports blank for about the same period yours reports all 3. Maybe just something that needs ironing out.

To fix this PwrThrmVrel (at start 10 seconds ) i must restart pc. Then after starting benchmarks/games i have only VREL.

Its not issue with my card?

Nothing worth worrying about. The card is still working as it should.

VDDC 1.0500V like on screen. But normally i have 1.065v when i restart pc when this occur. Doesnt matter? There is not performance difference.

Hmm if there is a voltage difference it might be worth bringing it up over on that Geforce forums thread. I'll see if mine does the same. Does it affect your clockspeed when under the same load?

No difference in clock speeds , boost is ok and the same, performance is the same. Only voltage difference 1.0500V <> 1.065V after restart.
Performance is the same ,clocks the same.

Any ideas?Something wrong?

If the clockspeed is the same and stability is good then it's not really a big issue, but it might be linked to the other problem.

For the record my gpu has chosen a lower power state for the 3rd time just now. Locked at 1721 MHz. Gpuz says pwr, even though it's just 80% of tdp.

So if with 1.0500V ( if get stuck ) get the same boost like with 1.0650V after restart ,should i worry or ignore this?

Look what i got today. I was sleeping for 2 hours, pcwas idle only monitor turned off. And that happen after 2 hours of idle. All normal , but PWR limit. Weird?

This time voltage lower 1.03V but i restart again pc. What you think its driver issue or card?

I meant Vrel as the perfcap reason.

It's most likely nothing to worry about.

Gpuboost 3 seems to be much more complicated than previous gens and perhaps there are things that still need ironing out at the driver level.

Speaking of which, have you got the latest ones released today yet? I doubt they will have sorted out the problem we were initially having as they would have needed to be sent to Microsoft for whql certification weeks before that thread was started on the geforce forums, but it's definitely an improvement over the previous drivers.

Thanks for reply, really appreciate it. When i restart pc it seems to fix this PwrThrmVrel perfcap and i am getting only VREL from beggining till end of benchmarks or games. So after restart not PwrThrmVrel at starting games or benchmarks, just only VREL.

Any ideas why restart pc cured this? Is this something with my card, that perfcap PwrThrmVrel? Or ignore this?

Anyway it doesnt impact on performance. Boost is ok ,even with PwrThrmVrel at beggining which is for maybe 10 seconds.

Screen, look , its something similiar with that PWR issue :

It's all obviously related to gpu boost. The new gpu boost 3 has made things even more complicated.

Restarting just resets the software/drivers.

Sometimes GPUZ reporting at starting games for a moment, perfcap reason THRM which is for 15 seconds, on my Gtx 1080 Xtreme. I dont know why because temps are very low 50C. Screen:

Any ideas why?Ahh and restart pc fixing this completelly until again. Thx for suggestion. My temps are very low , so i dont know why it reporting THRM. THX!
