GPUGRID problem

Anyone else been having any issues? My video driver keeps crashing. Probably started about a week or so ago.

I'm on 335.23 right now. I just updated it a day or two ago but it didn't seem to help.

Maybe my 560 TI is on its way out?

Not necessarily. What is the cards temp? Last summer I could only run GPUGrid on cool nights on my 560 or it would error when it got too hot.
Have you tried the card on Seti? I think that runs cooler.

Those temps are good compared to my 560 🙁

Re Seti: it takes a certain dedication which I cannot fault

Oh and I am running the same drivers.

Load power consumption for that card looks fine. Unless you OCed it and OCed a Bulldozer or LGA2011 processor.

Is anything OCed? Might want to reset everything to defaults. If that doesn't work you could try reinstalling Windows, and/or installing Linux and trying it there.

No OC on anything.

FX-8320 (undervolted and stock clock). Samsung EVO SSD and a Seagate 2TB. LG Blu Ray Burner. No gaming lately. It seems to get angry when I fire up chrome and try to do a little surfing.

I've had problems with the 335.23 drivers too, on my GT 430 card in my Gateway slimline computer.

Got a TDR error, then a blue-screen, with the NV kernel driver as the source of the error.

Tried an older driver?

I finally got one. Disappointing though that there doesn't seem to be much GPU work available right now. I like using my video cards for medical projects.

I thought it was odd my video driver hadn't crashed lately. Then I looked at my GPU temp and realized I must have run out of GPUGRID work.

They're saying more work today or tomorrow. My GPUs need a rest anyway! 🙂

deerslayer, you could try a few Primegrid WUs just to check to see if your card is OK. Proth Prime Search (Sieve) WUs are relatively short (~30 minutes or so).

Some of the GPUGrid WUs are Cuda 6.0 so you do need to use a relatively recent driver (334.21 or later).

Some have complained about problems with app version 8.15 WUs failing so the problem may not be with your card.
