0.0.5 out now and it works fairly well. OC detection is a hair off. I guess they are working round the clock to fix it. 3 versions in 3 days?

This is one very tool once they get all the bug's ironed out.

Just tried newest version and my card must be amazing with it's 20 Mhz Shader Clock.

It's a bug sure but I can't wait for it to be ironed out lol

LOL. Sorry, I just hate those C2D's failing prematurely for seemingly no reason at all.

Hey have u ever heard/seen a c2d fail prematurely? by prematurely about how long did u mean? u have me a little bit worried now since mine is running @ 1.5125v

I had an E6700 spontaneously fail about a month ago. Never could figure out why. Fortunately, Intel replaced it under warranty.

[edit] I should point out that I was running stock speeds and voltages, too.

do not worry...I've known people running good cooling with 1.55 v actual and no issues since initial release over a year ago.

See, the maximum rating is 1.35V. If you feel that it is necessary to run yours 24/7 at 3.6Ghz and 1.5125V, it is definitely up to you.

It is rather difficult to say how long is too long, especially that these CPU's are only slightly older then 1 year, but I would not feel comfortable with 1.5V.

No, I have not heard about any specific cases of failure, but there is a lot of people having inexplicable stability problems after successfully running their overclocked CPU's for months.

But again - I am perfectly happy with rather modest 2.925GHz at 1.3V, and am lucky enough not to experience any signs of instability (at least so far!)

1.35v is for stock operation. Overclocking always needs more voltages for stability after a certain point. Stock voltage only goes so far. That's all and I'm sure you knew that 😎

Couple things I notice that are wrong. It reports Geforce 7800/7900s as having 24 ROPs. They have 16. It reports X1900 series as having 6 vertex shaders, they have 8.

for 0.0.6:
Worked for 7900GT (some clock reports erroneous)
Worked for 7300-Go (more erroneous clocks)
Crashed on start-up for Quadro FX-540

Has anyone gotten this to work on a 6600GT PCIe card? The program flips the cursor to hourglass but never launches. It shows in Task Manager process list, but not in running Applications.
