GPU QUESTION

I have had this VC for about 2 months, works fine no problems. Unlocked pipes/shader with Rivatuner and I dont get artifacts, but it resets the clock speeds to 200/300 and the slider only goes to like 300/450 or so. Does this mean the pipes/shader is not funcutional? When I do the "test" to OC the card it still gives me the 200/300 speeds. Driver issue? I have drivers 78.01 I think

If you are not getting artifacts, then your pipes are functional. Will it overclock without unlocking the pipes?

Yes I can. Although whenever I hit the "TEST" button it always says something like "speeds are not stable for your current system" but it works all the way up to 375/800. And I think there is artifacts sometimes. When playing Doom 3, once about every 5 minutes I see some small black spots flash on the screen very quickly, but it is barely noticable. I just assumed it was from the unlocked pipes, which led me to believe that it was screwing with the clock speeds as well
