Folding at home has many types of workunits/tasks. Most give about the same amount of points per unit of time. But some give too little, some too many points. Let's try to create a bit of data, and see if it is really the task, or the architecture that task is running on that is causing too few or too many points.
In your first post please give a quick rundown on your system, such as the CPU, GPU, Ram and your overclocked speeds or if they are at stock speeds. Also please ensure you feed your GPU at least one thread of CPU power on faster systems, two threads/one core for slower systems.
After that, your updates need only to contain the PRCG number and the Estimated PPD. Also please ensure the task is at least 10% done, so that the PPD has stabilized somewhat.
This information is available in both the web view and advanced view. Please ensure you click the GPU you are reporting, otherwise the information shown might be for the CPU or another GPU.
