GPU hiccups

I was playing around with 3ds and found out that my gpu did some hiccups.
Is that a bad thing? What would happen to my card if i go on working on the project?
Any ideas?

you could try different drivers. if it's a consumer card, drivers are not optimized for pro apps like Max.
