Greetings guys !
I have been a lurker on these forums for quite some time.
I recently build a rig, and most of my decisions were based on topics in here !
My build :-
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
+
Gigabyte 880GMA E55 (MicroATX) [Integrated Radeon HD 4250]
+
Corsair Ram 4GB (1x4GB)
+
Western Digital 500 Gb 6.0 Gb/s
+
Acer S202 20" Monitor
+
VIP Gold 500W PSU
The 880-GMA motherboard has an integrated Radeon HD 4250 GPU.
This card is quite cool, and runs most games on a High-Medium quality with 1600x900 resolution (Highest resolution of my Acer S202).
My initial decision was to go with the ATI Radeon HD 5770 GPU.
But considering the good quality that the HD 4250 is offering, Im thinking of going with the Radeon HD 5750 GPU.
My question is :
If I get a Radeon HD 5750, will it combine with the integrated Radeon HD 4250 or will it act as an independent GPU and NOT utilize the 4250 ?
The HD 5750 is only worth getting if it combines with the HD 4250, because on its own the HD 5750 is not that good.
If it indeed does not combine and does not utilize the 4250 then Ill buy the HD 5770, which is quite a good card, eh ?!
The utilization of my rig is for casual gaming.
Looking forward to all your advices !
Cheers !
