GPU from CPU and external GPU

I have question about CPU GPU. Right now I have i5 3350p CPU and this one doesn't have any GPU inside.
I will probbably buy i7 3770 CPU soon, and I'm wondering if GPU from CPU will work along with my 270X graphic card. Will both those GPUs work together and increase my FPS in game?

This capability is supposed to come with DX12 at some point. "Multiadapter".

It is all up in the air right now, though.

Also no idea if older chipsets will support multiadapter.

If you want better FPS it would be better to upgrade your graphic card than your CPU.

Something like a R290 or GTX970 would be a good choice.
