GPU for my daughters PC

I built my 11 yo daughter a mini tower APU PC last year..Pretty barebones because as those of us with kids know there is a great chance it collects dust..She has expressed interest in gaming on it..Chugs on a lot of my Steam games as expected..She is playing all the Arkham games and Lego World..LW is especially bad..The specs are an A10 7770k, 8gb of 2133, a cheap TT 400 watt psu that came with the case, and a cheap ssd from MC..Think I gave like $225 total for it..I only want to spend $70 just in case of neglect..Does the 7770k go better with the r7 240 or r7 250(think that one might tax PSU) for dual graphics?..I'm getting conflicting opinions on my searches..I know about the 750/950 but I'm pretty firm on $70 or under..Thanks

Yeah I doubt dual graphics is the best option. Firstly because (as above) you can get a single newer and potentially fast card without the need for crossfire. Secondly the onboard GPU will eat into the APU's power budget, making the CPU run slower.

What would also be good to know is if you have singe or dual channel RAM, eg 1 or 2 sticks? Single-channel RAM kills APU performance.
But if you can find an RX 460 as cheap Crono posted, then that's probably your best bet. Another 8 gb RAM stick won't be much cheaper.

Yea, a lower end new generation card would offer much better performance than trying to run dual graphics with either of the cards you mentioned. Dont have to worry about having dual channel ram either.
Look for either an RX460 or GTX1050. The 1050 performs somewhat better and generally uses less power, but that 460 another poster linked is a very good price.

GT 1030 could be a good option if you only want to spend $70. It will launch this month.
