GPU concern

i have a xfx geforce 6200 and when I was playing portal on the first day i got it, once ( and only that one time, hasnt happened before) i got a whole lotta weird colors on the screen for a split second. It never happened again but is this something to be concerned about?

also, when i use GPU-Z, it says gpu clock 350 Mhz but memory clock 266mhz

is something wrong or is the memory clock lower than it should be?

should i run 3dmark 06 now to see if it does it again or is that a bad idea?

If you don't see the weird colors again, then it's probably okay. The GPU and memory clocks are usually different.

yea but isnt the memory clock supposed to be higher than the GPU clock usually?

My guess is that it was a software glitch.

The memory clock has nothing to do with the GPU (core) clock. Also remember that memory is DDR, so it's effectively doubled.

it's DDR2 memory according to GPU Z

so that means it's really 526Mhz?
