I just started running the GPU client yesterday and the first thing i noticed is the WU size is 25000000 frames. and it says it will be done in 518 days. I think thats alittle retarded. Is something wrong? my CPU version does a WU in about 24-35 hours

Usually, the first estimate for the runtime is far off as far as I can remember. After that, it'll adjust and you should see the real estimate.

The GPU client should finish a WU in about 12 hours or so with a X1900. Looks like they are still all 330 points.

In case you didn't know: the GPU client uses a CPU core along with the GPU. The CPU is needed to poll the video card or something like that.

If you have a dual core/CPU computer you can run one GPU and one regular client. If you have a single CPU computer you can only run one GPU client OR one regular client.

If you have a single CPU computer and are trying to run one GPU and one regular client the regular client might be using all of the CPU and the GPU will not get any cycles.

When you start F@H the first time, it asks you if you want to adjust the advanced configuration as well. Go for yes. The important thing about two F@H instances on one PC with two cores is that you give each a different ID. IIRC, the very last question of the advanced options is the Machine ID. Make sure you give different numbers to each F@H client. That should solve the problem. Oh, and of course, you need to have two copies of the F@H console in two different folders, to do this. You can't start the same console twice. :)
