gps with life time traffic - opinions

what do you guys think? does this stuff really work?

That said, lifetime traffic is like $30 or something. Why not get it?

I just got a temp one for fall, winter and spring of next year, cost about $120. I think next summer I will shell out $200 for a better one with more candy and try out the traffic features.

Mine worked for me when I was driving through Atlanta. Probably saved me 45 minutes.

Depends on the area. In LA you can get surface street traffic as well with Google Maps. I should really look into this....or just leave it running on my phone.

Google Nav works great for me.

I live in a medium sized town and the live traffic works fine around here.

I recently got the Garmin 1690 but I don't use the traffic function.
Still trying to get google map to gps to work.
