GPS tagging pictures

As I frequently take lots of pictures when I travel, I saw the Pharos Trips and Pics over at Adorama. In theory it sounds very cool to be able to geotag your pictures, so you don't have to keep a running list of where you were for each picture. Looking at the technical specs it seems to have a similar SiRFstar III GPS chip found in many other units. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this device or similar.

Looking around it seems like the device was just launched at CES in January. Has anyone tried gps tagging of pictures?

I am not sure if that helps.

I had a chance to play w/ MIO C720T, that come w/ the Geotag.
Of course, its build in 2MP camera is "adequate" to display on the GPS device itself.

You can also import photo into your device and tag it wherever location you want as Photo-POI.

Last post before you is dated Feb 13 2008, it's June 15 2012 today. Shouldn't it be 4 1/3 year old post? :hmm:

It was past 2am and I was staring at a screen for 10 hours and bug testing (lots of numbers, making sure all the maths are correct in a reporting module), so um...yeah...probably need to re-confirm all those reports. :)
