it has a sirf III receiver, it is made by Pharos (they've been making GPS receivers for a long time). it looks pretty good overall. if i hadn't just bought a BT GPS receiver myself, i would have been all over this one.

 
Who is the map provider for Pharos? Navteq? TeleAtlas? What version?
UI is home-brew or i-Go? Desitnator? Smart2go?
POI data?
