Anyone know of any good portable GPS units that would work well for Kayaking.

Not looking for anything fancy, just something that is waterproof/resistant and has maps that cover small islands/tributaries along the coast. We're planning a camping trip to 10,000 islands in a few weeks and would like to have something to help us navigate the mangrove islands.

The HCx (the newest one) is IPX7 rated. "An IPX7 designation means the GPS case can withstand accidental immersion in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes."

He's kayaking with it, not scuba diving, so 1meter should be fine.
