I've been to places where we were encouraged to pay traffic tickets at the time that they were given out. You know, to cut down on paperwork. That sort of thing made me tolerate corruption at home even less. It's not enough to be better than some shithole nobody cares about, I want to leave them so far behind that their children can't even hope to catch up.

And that's what's wrong with this country. Attitude like that. You want to take for yourself and leave the world burning in your hateful wake. You claim my thread fails while you fail at basic humanity.

They're doing a fine job of burning themselves; there's no need for me to help and I consider it a waste of time. Getting our own shit together would be a much better use of that time. It's not a zero-sum game, we can leave them generations behind without doing anything to slow them down.
