Gov. Perry & AFA team up

Day of Prayer and Fasting.

1) Set up loudspeakers to broadcast the Muslim call to prayer.
2) Have a gigantic barbecue. Outdoors, so everyone can smell it.

I see nothing wrong with what Gov Perry is doing, and I don't have a problem with AFA even though I'm not a religious nut like they appear to be. They are entitled to their opinion like anyone else.

You mean people who want special treatment?

Because not wanting to be discriminated against = asking for "special treatment." By this logic, white hetrosexual men have been getting "special treatment" for hundreds of years now.

Affirmative action and special laws for specific groups of people = special treatment.

I am personally against government interfering in marriages and in fact don't believe they should be involved in marriage at all. It's none of anyone's business if a church decides to marry people. I am against any laws accommodating or prohibiting marriages. Or legislating buttsechs.

I know the gay community loves to blame evil right wing republicans for their oh so horrible lives ( ) but it's blacks and Mexicans holding them back.

Fantastic. So you don't support this proposed amendment, then?

Rick Perry has the look. I'll give him that. I can picture him actually being president. Whether or not he'd do a good job is another story.

But out of all the candidates, he looks most presidential.

Perry will go wherever the money is at.

Shortly after Perry took office, he helped get a constitutional amendment passed that limited damages awarded in medical lawsuits. The lawsuit had the backing of the insurance companies, if that tells you anything.

But on the flip side, Perry has done a lot of good stuff for Texas, like passing laws to protect private property from being taken by the government, the castle law that allows home owners to use lethal force.

Personally, I think Perry is a fence rider, whatever side of the fence has the money, that is where he is going to go to.

He has "the hair."

There could be worse presidents.

What, because the litigation lobby wasn't on the other side of the money? If he sided with them then he'd be seen as a whore to the lawyer's lobby.

How about staying neutral on the issue?

The people of the state of Texas were told that if we passed the law, our health insurance rates would go down - we were lied to.

I had recently moved, and was not registered in my new county. I was going to vote "No" on the issue, but was unable to do so.

Yea, why should they blame that people that spend the most money and time demonizing them.
