Had a 4 year old 1tb 850 evo fail and when I called them up I got a person on the phone pretty much right away. They sent me a shipping label and in less than a week I had a new drive at my door. Got an 860 back too. All the SSDs I buy are Samsung and they will continue to be in the future.

I think most if not all Samsung SSD carry a 5-year limited warranty... no?

It is nice being able to quickly run through an RMA process though; a lot of companies in computing can be a bit more of a hassle. Samsung does benefit from having not only a ton of stock, but also many warehouses and distribution partners across the world.

Yeah their cheapest SSDs are 5 year. The Pros are 10 year. I don't know why it failed. One day the motherboard just stopped recognizing the drive. It was on my PC solely used for games so didn't really care to just install everything again.
