i am looking forward to it. i never bothered with "allies" in G3 and you're right, they got in the way
... Oblivion had this fault also

If you don't want to read through a guide before starting Gothic 2, I could let you know the couple key points to starting out. It's nothing plot revealing or anything. Just send me a PM, I'll leave this thread back for Gothic 4.
