Just a guess. But when I first got my Ti4400 I noticed that I could not run it at an agp aperture of 256 mb.

I have a K7S5A mb, but I have read at NVnews.net forum that a few people with both 4400s and 4600s
have had best luck with an aperture size of 64mb. Mine seems to run the same at both 64 and 128,
and I can get into windows at 256, but can't run certain 3d apps at 256.

I would set it at 64mb and see what happens. Your motherboard may react differently and I think
this issue has more to do with gf4 ti's than mbs.

Hope that helps.
