Got to ride a Segway yesterday!

The corporation I work at supplies a major part of the Segway, so we have one. I got to ride around on it yesterday...they are so fun to ride. It's amazing how little movement is needed to get them to go forwards and backwards. At first it was quite hard to get it to stand still.

I also liked the magnetic keys that were set to different maximum speeds. Automakers should adopt the idea so parents can stop their kids from driving 90 MPH around town.

They do have gas pedal governors that prevent the gas from being hit too hard. Not a bad idea though.

Yeah, jumping on it would freak it out. I would expect depending on how you landed either it would either do nothing, or take off straight ahead. Either way would make it hard to stay on. 🙂
