yeah I agree, most of the "lost episodes" skits sucked, but thats comedy centrals fault. They arent new skits, they are just ones from previous seasons that they didnt air because they were below par.
His standup is great though.
I agree that the new stuff is just as funny, and as a bonus there's no crappy musical performance at the end of each show. (The Tupac sketch from a couple of weeks ago ranks with my favorites.)Originally posted by: Homerboy

No it was stuff recorded before he split.
The skits were perfectly fine too... People saying otherwise are simply playing into EXACTLY what Chappelle said. No matter what he did, everybody would say it wasn't good/fresh/new.
The pixie sketch IIRC was the one that the person on the set was laughing at, and Chappelle realized they maybe laughing at it for the wrong reasons, and he started his spiralling and 2nd guessing. (IMO it was a damned funny sketch too)
