Yeah, so I got the 3 red lights today. I knew it was coming since games had been freezing up on me the past few days.

So it freezes up today and tomorrow is the first day of the free Arcade download to make up for the Live troubles earlier in the month. And the free download lasts for 5 days.

This is my 2nd Xbox to get the 3 red lights. The repair is free, but this is extremely annoying. I've never had a console as shoddy as this. I'm seriously considering giving up on the 360 when I get it back and ebaying it.

I like PC games anyway, and I have a PS3 and Wii for my console fix.

When you call MS Support to replace the console ask for 800 MS points as compensation for Undertow being free while you're console is out of service. They are giving 800 points already to those people who previously purchased Undertow.

Already called them. I should have brought that up. They did mention something about getting 20 or 30 free days of Xbox Live.

Thats not really much of a free bonus. 20-30 days is about the turnaround time.

At least they dont expect you to keep paying for live while your 360 is broken, even if they expect you to pay for it when the XBL service is broken. 😛
