I got the DVD set, and was going to watch the bonus features. The disc looks a little damaged, and when I put it into my dvd player, it can't read the DVD....

So, naturally I feel like crap and want it replaced, but if I do it through Amazon, I'll have to return and get it exchanged... (which will cost me shipping). Who do I contact to have the disc replaced?

EDIT: NVM, 20th Century FOX home entertainment is the distributor.

Duh, the retailer you got it from? Bitch and insist that you not pay anything beyond the cost you've already paid.

I bought my set from Walmart and the A New Hope DVD skipped. I just took it back and exchanged it.

I would return it.

If it was damaged to begin with and you're exchanging, Amazon will let you print out a postage paid return label for the exchange.

i can't think of any online retailer that would make you pay for shipping when they send you a defective product

Email Amazon..They'll send you a label for you to print and send for a return/exchange. No hassle and no shipping charge. I thought this was common knowledge???
