so let me ask you this...

if you knew or thought they had such a bad rep and were selling LOTS of bad sticks or sticks that couldn't hit rated speeds, then why the heck did you buy their ram???

if anyone looks foolish now... it's you...

dissed 😛

like everyone else who has been screwed by GEIL, I couldn't resist the low price. The low latency timings that it claims plus the low price were too much to resist, plus I hadn't tried GEIL before and was willing to take the risk. After all i'm only out $2.90 in shipping so it wasn't a horrible ordeal. Now I know though, only buy memory corsair, mushkin, or kingston.

you know...

you can share your experiences about how your ram didn't do the timings they were supposed to do...

but you shouldn't go as far as to say that a company is crap because you got bad sticks...

you choose to either have a positive attitude or negative attitude and it's not really edifying to the o/cing community to bad mouth a company cuz of one bad experience...

there are lots of people that i have heard stories about ocz not hitting rated speeds... but instead of dwelling on this fact, they put in positive how ocz was willing to ship them a new stick that very same day...

lots of people share their experiences here... just try not to give a company that's doing its best to rebuild its reputation such a hard time when they are doing a better job of customer service and bringing better quality ram...
