Bought a copy of CALL OF DUTY on ebay. Got my game today and found out there is no freaking CD KEY.
Can't play the game or even install the game. What a rip off.
Send E-mails to seller, no reply what so ever.
Filed buyer protection on Paypal already, don't know what's going to happen.
I am PISSED.

he's got 'as is' and 'untested' all over the place in the auction... i don't know if that's a proper defense or not, but I probably would have stayed away from the auction.

i never said it wasn't lame, i'm just saying that maybe you should've avoided the auction. i'd never buy anything that was stated as "untested and as-is", unless it was an EXCEPTIONAL deal that I wouldn't mind losing the money on if it was completely worthless. generally, those auctions are "untested and as-is" because they are broken, or missing something important, etc.

Or the tons of feedback from the same people and all the neg's concerning software (broken, missing, unuseable cds) and "As-is" item complaints.

Exactly. Why sell something with all kinds of "untested", "as-is" and "no returns for any reason" all over unless you have good reason to expect the buyer to want to return it?

That guy has some pretty bad feedback... 96.9% is pretty poor in my opinion. That, along with his auction description, would have made me avoid his auction!

Uh...you just got the thing today, AND they're not open on the weekends. This is a business, not some guy in his garage. It's crappy you didn't get a CD Key, but don't call in the SWAT team just yet.
