I bought one with the price 99.98. I just called my CC and they give me $30 credit for the price differe (99.98-69). The the final price of mine is:

100-30 -40-25 =5!

Good deal!

Explain:

100 - price of 99.98+0.02(stuff)
-30 - (refund from clcik citi)
-40 - renbate
-25 - 25 off 100 at staples
-------------------------------------
= $5 + tax !

so suggest you guys use click citi online purchase and they also have 1% instant refund for your all online transaction!

This should definitely be in brag and moan as this 'deal' only applies if you have previously put together an order for $100, used a coupon for $100 minimum, then asked your credit card for the price difference after a price drop that has already happened. Please keep things like this in brag and moan as they do not apply to the majority of people here who may not get price credits with credit card and since the price drop has already happened, there is no way to even do this 'deal' now. The only 'deal' here would be the burner itself at the new lower price period.

I believe 'out of stock in your area' refers to the regional warehouses that supply Staples.com orders and not to the inventory of the physical store. If that's why you are wondering.

HE Means citibank or something, probably as in a credit card, not circuit city. He's trying to say that his credit card giving him price protection makes this some sort of deal, even though it only applies to him. Please see my other post.

Me too:

110(purchase price ten days ago)
-25(staple coupon)
-10(price diff when it was $100)
-30(price diff when it was $70)
-40(rebate)
------
5(final+ tax based on $70)

It works as expected so far. Only regret no Win2k driver.

out of stock doesnt mean much. when i was on staples.com yesterday, i did a search for every single zip code in my area, all showing out of stock. when i called the actual BM store, they told me that they did have them in stock. Best bet is to always call. but even better, is to drive down in person.

Will Staples give us $30 for the drop from $99 to $69? Or are they not like Amazon.com :|.

I got one for the 110.00 minus coupons ect...it came in Monday, I called staples @ 1800staples
and they gave me the 70.00 price adjustment. They had to take off the coupon of course but said
that I could re use it later.

CMV,
Staples has a 14 day price guarantee. The only hitch is that you may lose your discount on a $100 purchase if the result of the PM causes the total purchase to be less than a $100.

They gave me the $30 price adjustment but I had to add to my order to keep the total over $100 or I'd lose the coupon. So I added a 100pack of cds for $30 and came out with the same charge that I previously had.

When I bought my 19 inch monitor. It was a clearance NEC model and two were at the only store anywhere around here. I called to ask about useing a coupon at the B&M and he tried to get me to order online told me that he was able to find 2 in my area. It had to be those two cause its the only store anywhere around here. So in my opinion I'd say their quantities are pretty accurate.
