Saw one of these 3060M cards selling for around $100 and thought theyd be great for a low power gaming VM (one that is basically going to run 24/7 so i can access whenever). In the description I read to need to do some tinkering to get the HDMI out to work, but didn't really care since I would be remoting into this machine to game anyway.
It's a similar card to the one from this old thread: https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/3060m-6gb-card-off-of-aliexpress.2607912/#post-40875143
This is the insert that came in the box: https://i.ibb.co/5vY9ypk/2222222222222.png
and the link from the insert: https://github.com/arutar/FrankenDriver
My VM config can see the card, but at least in Linux - there is no video out from the HDMI:
My hunch is that I might be able to somehow just get this recognized as a normal 3060M? Seemed like a few posters mentioned that in the other thread.
Any ideas?
