Any plans to OC it even more? That adjustable voltage would come in handy if you install a zalman vf700 cooler and maybe push the core to something like 760+ mhz.

Anyway, good to know the x1800xt has some nice OC headroom, I'm so tempted to get one myself...
 
I do plan to eventually raise the core voltage, but I want to see other results. I would like to know if I have a good card, average, or worse than average, which is usually what i get.
 
congrats man...thats a monster right there...too bad its too pricy compared to its performance.....

Considering that it overclocks to 730mhz on stock cooling, I wouldn't call it too pricy.

How's the noise on the cooler? Previews have been mixed (AT said it was good wrt noise, HardOCP said it was high-pitched and fairly loud under load).

at full speed its loud, but under normal gaming its not loud at all.

I havent tried it with the XT yet, but it worked with the xl, so i am betting that it will.
 
Congrats, very nice card ! I wonder if it'll perform even better when Cat 5.11 comes out? New OpenGl optimizations or something...
 
Congrats! Nice card with lot of potential.
Wonder you can provide some game benchies such as FEAR, HL2:LC, and COD2. This card will be on my high list for upgrade by xmas.
