I'm excited as hell, its my birthday this weekend so a large group of us is going to get something to eat then go and see Sin City, going to the Muvico in Boca Raton, its has what they call "The Premier" which is a balcony style "V.I.P." section of the theater, its basically upstairs and hangs above the normal theater, they have huge comfy french seats, all the popcorn you can eat, valet parking and 5 star restaurant.

Well worth the $18 a ticket IMO to have my seat assigned already and know that on a packed night I will be sitting dead center in the front row (which is really more the back of the actual theater)

Link with some pics and info

Edit: forgot to add, its 21 and up only which is the best part, no damn kids talking over the movie!

Nice. This movie intrigues me in the fact that none of the actors were ever together during shooting, even with scenes with multiple actors interacting. Atleast that's what I've heard. Amazing stuff we can do nowadays :).

I know, I was reading an interview with Mikey Rourke today and he was saying how he really had no idea how it was going to turn out until the final cut with all the animation added in.

I was walking by the tv earlier tonight, and my fiance was watching one of those Extra shows, and they were interviewing Brittany Murphy, who was star struck with Bruce Willis standing next to her. Even though I guess they are in quite a few scenes together, she had never met or talked to him until the premier of the movie.

if you tell me they serve alcohol also so you can drink and watch the movie (w/o smuggling a 40oz in your girls purse), i will be insanely jealous that you have a theatre like that in your area.

I get to see an advance screening tomorrow. w00t. :D

And then probably again on Friday with my other friends who aren't so fortunate. Any word on which trailers are being shown? I assume either Batman or Star Wars (I wouldn't mind seeing both again), but I hope to see one for HGG.

Hopefully, this movie will turn out to be a good one and not a let down such as Captain Sky and The World of Tomorrow.

With Rodriguez and Frank Miller (not to mention the kickass cast)...not a chance that it's going to suck.

I've been working my way through the last 10 years of graphic novels that I missed when I was neutered previously (the clone transplant has been successful with no rejection so far, lol), and this is on my list, I've heard it's amazing, hope the movie can live up to the fanboys :)

This movie actually interests me.... it seemed to me this past year of movies really sucked. I think Shrek 2 and The Incredibles were about my favorites.

Don't forget the Tarantino twist, since he's the guest director that should definitely impact the movie. I'm gonna see it just because it's different and it has a really good cast. Oh well, we'll all see I guess.

Yeah, I went to a Muvico once (in Baltimore or some suburb of it). It was pretty big and had an Egyptian motif. I didn't see a restaurant like that though.

Unfortunately, just like they did with Hero, Tarantino's name is mostly attached just to bring in more people. His production company distributed Hero domestically, and for Sin City, he only has one scene (you'll know which one it is, from what I hear) and it's more to set the tone and pace than action, which is what people associate with Tarantino usually.

But I guess something's better than nothing. I'll let you all know how the scene went after I see it tomorrow night. ;)

The actor portraying MARV is not Bruce Willis....Its MICKEY ROURKE.... But heck, it sure looks like Bruce Willis with hair though!!! LOL

You bet your ass you can! Shyt thats half the reason to go!

I remember or don't I guess that I went there when the first LOTR came out with a few friends and me and one of my other friends ended up drinking to much and missing half the movie due to hanging out at the bar, then I ended up doing the same exact thing again for the second one!

But I've had some damn good times up there!

This is the only Muvico that has it, at least I'm pretty sure.

I've been waiting for this movie to finally come out for a year.

...but I'm not going to see it right away.
