ahhhh everything that could go wrong went wrong this week... :(

anyway, i dropped my phone like 1 ft high or so and the LCD screen shattered, some parts of it still work but most of it doesn't. the phone still functions but without much of the LCD screen it doens't help. i just got it last month or something and it's a nokia phone, has anyone returned their phone to nokia for repairs?

UPDATE:

nokia sent it back to me finally. everything fixed and i got a new faceplate also! nokia rocks!!! well, the repair time was a little too long (they received on the 14th and i just got it back today on the 29th)

i'm an authorized AT&T, Tmobile, Nextel and Verizon dealer.. Unfortunately I have never seen any warranty cover a broken LCD.

I dropped my Nokia 5125 in my driveway early last year. Long story short, after looking for the phone for 1 month, I bought another. 4 Months later I found my original phone smooshed in a crack in my driveway, but still in it's leather slip cover. Apparently, I had been running over it in the truck 2-3 times a day for around 5 months.

I put all the peices back together and put a battery in it. It powered up for about 4 seconds and turned off. I kept tryin to no avail. I called up Nokia to see if I could get it repaired and they said to send it in... 3 weeks later I got a completely free replacement in the mail. Brand new...

That is what I call customer service.

Well, it's a dirt/rock driveway, so it's not as easy to see objects in it as asphault.
