i got a steal through bensbargains. i ended up getting the 1800fp + keyboard/mouse + digital Camera + comp (2ghz celeron/ 128 ram/ 30 gig hd) all for 558$. the monitor alone should have been 509$. im going to sell off everything except the monitor, and cam, and hopefully make most of the money back

hey, how do you make the desktop resolution stretch like that? I can have 2 pic one each monitor. I have a NVIDIA CARD
ultramon

edit: confused by what you meant.

the original image was normal size. I stretched it to 2560x1024, chopped it in two, and set the wallpaper for each in that prog.

other way of doing it is just to make the image that size, and don't stretch it. (but I like ultramon's other features)

So are LCD's better than CRTs as far as clarity, and other 2d stuff?

I don't care about games.

Generally, at least on par, if not better.
