Thanks for the support guys, maybe I'll post about any interesting/funny experiences over the summer.

Congrats - I just got an internship at Broadcom doing HW work...should be interesting.

Grats, looks like you go to Gatech too! We get the cool jobs without paying the big bucks for tuition. Especially if you're in state. Mmmm, $0 tuition.

Congrats on a solid internship, try and change the genre of MMO's from pay-for jobs to actual games!

Hopefully the more pvp oriented Warhammer will be different, but I can kind of agree with what you're saying about pve raiding I've experienced in other games. I've got my ideas, how much say an intern says who knows... but it'll be easier on the inside.

You just sold your soul to the devil. LOL @ ensure warhammer online to be an awesome game. They have so much shit going on in there right now, they pushed the release date back again and can't give people a definite release date.

Grats on the job, coffee boy.

When you already have so many millions invested in a game it makes a lot more sense to spend a bit more and finish it then to have a failed launch of an unfinished game, essentially flushing the investment down the toilet. Better to get it later when it's DONE than now when it's not ready. EA's giving them the time they need thus far.

I have very little interest in game development and so I didn't bother applying to any of the game developers. I'm more going for web application development.

Definitely tons of good jobs there that are easier to come by, good luck!

Awesome, so you are going to be working on UO, cant believe they still put anything into that game.

I don't know if I'll be working on UO specifically, but why abandon 100k+ paying subscribers? UO is the longest running MMO.

Cool! I'm also going to blame him for how much Steam sucks... even though it's not an EA product.

Do you think that can I also blame him for NVidia's flaky Windows Vista video drivers as well? :)
