It's downtown Omaha, and it is pretty small. I like the old style barber shops and the "characters" that patronage them, you hear the most interesting things in a barber shop. Especially from older people who reflect back on different eras. Barbershop > History Channel. :)

I still remember going to barbershops with Playboy on the end tables.
My barber still keeps it there.

I need to start getting my hair cut by your barber's, dunno how the wife would react though.

Any of them have Playgirl for her?

It's the same price as a local cookie-cutter salon for me...$15 + $3 tip, and the atmosphere and attention is much more personal. Whenever I go in, my barber says, "Shorten 'er up, Mike?" and that's all it takes to describe how I want it cut.

I've been going there for almost 5 years now - and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Man, I can almost feel the hair standing all up on end after Dad would take me in on Sat. Mornings for the weekly Flattop. Almost smell the talcum Powder, too.
BTW, Your title sux. It implies there is a pic of the haircut. :D

I started going to a "hair stylist" friend of my aunt, and now she owns her own "trendy" salon. The trouble is that it's expensive for a haircut ($30), but she does a great job, and I'm not about to go somewhere else and take my chances. She informs me that they're taught to try and cater to males, because once they're comfortable with you cutting their hair you've got a lifetime customer. It's true too...
