great thread would read again  A++++

Damn, smart asses coming out of the woodwork today. I really didnt expect much of a serious discussion, this is ATOT after all 🙄

You asked an extremely stupid question. What serious discussion did you want? Maybe educate yourself at cdc.gov and then this calamity could have been avoided.

Yeah well, Im asking for real experiences, not that it may cause

redness
swelling
tendermess
runny nose
sore throat
anal leakage
and erection lasting more than 4 hours

OK. They stuck a needle in my shoulder, 2 seconds later I had a band-aid and went home. Anyone that says they got the flu is either dumb or lying, most likely both.

If you do get anal leakage tho, I will give you a :cookie:

NY state is making every health care worker in the state get the flu and H1N1 vaccine.
So I will be getting both the regular flue and N1H1 vaccine.

AFAIK, the requirement is only for the seasonal flu shot, not for H1N1. I don't believe they've made a decision on the H1N1 yet.

They ran out of shots today here 🙁 I better not get the flu as a result of missing getting a shot!

One time I was getting some shot, can't remember what for..

But anyways, doctor starts prepping my left arm, rubbing alcohol and all. I was like, I'm actually left handed, can you use my right arm instead?

She's like sure! Stabs left arm anyways...

I felt SO betrayed. 🙁

The flue shot contains proteins, it's actually only part of he virus so there's no chance you can get the disease from the shot.

You can get some symptoms from your immune system going into overdrive and attacking the 3 strains of proteins, but it usually goes away quickly.

I had, 2 days sore arm
1 day very slight itching in the inner ear

Otherwise I was fine and that was the reaction to 2 vaccines at the same time, not just the flu shot.

I got mine about 2 weeks ago. Arm was sore for 2 days but didn't feel anything adverse other than that.

My university was going to flu shots weekly until they ran out. The supply they had didn't even make it all the way through the first day. Glad I got in when I did! Everyone else has to wait until they get more.
