i've gone 130 in a 65 before. of course this was 2 in the morning on a deserted stretch of highway with noone around (i made sure first).
flame away.
anyway, i was driving home yesterday and i hit a patch of water and skid and hit a speed limit pole. i need a new front driver's side door now
. its gonna put me $900 in the hole.
but you know what ironic part was? i was going only 10 over the limit. i was doing 30 over most of the way until i hit the wet roads, so i slowed down (relatively). my other accident that was my fault (hit a suv's trailer hitch) was at 5 mph (not 5 mph below the limit but 5 mph) . the third accident (wasn't my fault, old guy didnt see me coming and ran right into right side of car) was at 2 mph below the speed limit. the only speeding ticket i have (only ticket except for parking tickets) was for going 35 in a 30. lesson learnt? go way the hell above the speed limit. =D
and before any of you jump down my throat, the 30 over the limit is in east texas (think long [15 mile] stretches of open road without ANYBODY around.
