15% all around including the windshield strip.

All cars should be tinted, it just looks a lot better with it.

Looks like you are in New Jersey.. good luck with that. If what google says is right, they don't allow any tint on the front side windows or the windshield visor strip.
Then again when I was a kid I had my car blacked out and I never got in trouble for it (in VA).

Lol... totally illegal too.. 15%... I thought Jersey cops were strict about those things.

Why do the Civics advertise VTEC and DOHC and all that by the way? They are stock stickers right?

It's kind of like advertising the fact that you have 4 wheels and an engine... so does everyone else.

For the same reason your Camry has a V6 badge.

Really on fire today, spewing hateration in multiple threads, bravo.

Looks good OP.

Cops probably won't care unless he gets stopped, but he will not pass inspection until it comes off...

Um no Camry has a V6 badge. Nor does any Lexus.

I have a co-worker who did 15% all around (except windshield) and didn't get a ticket yet. 15% is quite dark, so he slides the driver side window about half way when he sees the cop just in case. He didn't even have to do that when his car had 30% on front.

Also, since OP's car is new (by looking the inspection sticker), the next inspection is due like 2014, so plenty of time to enjoy tint without inspection 😛

Actually, he won't have a problem passing inspection with the tint. As of August 1, 2010 NJ will inspect for emission compliance only.

Now, passing a cop parked on the side of the road can be a different story. Since, NJ still has the same laws on the books (in this case no tint on front windows), it is up to the discretion of the officer if he or she wants to perform a safety inspection of a vehicle.

NJ no longer have safety inspection. They just have Emission inspection where they put a metering device on the exhaust. They don't care if your car have no bumpers, lights, tints, doors, etc... lol.

Thank god. It was pissing a lot of people off for failing inspection because one of their turn signal bulb burnt out. Stupid.

First time in a long time where NJ pass some law that make sense.

Are you retarded? It makes perfect sense that states have a safety inspection. It's for the safety of other drivers as well as yourself. I see a ton of burnt tail lights here and honestly they can be a hazard. And with as little attention as people use in cars nowadays I'd want every advantage of being visible or seeing people as possible.

returning from his banning to spill more dumbshit. No Camry with a v6 badge? lulz. What about Camries with gold badges?

to the OP, be wary of the po-po. Lots of NJ people bitch about getting tickets for illegal tint, smoking tails/headlights, etc... Just a warning.
