My girlfriend has the same EX-L 4 in white, decked out with GPS and the rest. Beautiful car.

Nice man. I just detailed my car today as well. its dark now though but i'll post some pics tomorrow, hopefully a bird wouldn't have crapped on it by then!!

I spent about 3 hours. I washed the car w/ Meguiars gold class car wash soap w/ two buckets with grit guard, then i dried it off w/ an absorber chamois thing, then i spotcleaned w/ meguiars quick detailing spray w/ claybar to get off all the tough bugs and dirt, mostly on my front and rear view mirrors. then using a PC7424 orbital buffer i used meguiars NXT 2.0 car wax (it's actually a sealant) w/ microfiber bonnets. waxed off with microfiber towels i got from autopia.org.

in the dark after i finished

ill start my own thread tomorrow once i get some more pics :)

Nice, how much was it did they polish it? How long did it all take?

No polish since the paint was in good shape

130 for wash, clay bar, wax, interior shampoo + protect leather, engine detail

Took about 3 hours

Nose guard is gonna stay on, it came with the car and theres pieces held on by some annoying double sided tape. I'd rather not mess with it at this point.

Its coming in quite handy since I drive 160km/day all highway

probably in the realm of 850 CDN

i sourced my own parts, but got the retro done by someone else

tack off 250-300 for if you do it yourself

When you detail a Honda does it count as rice? :D

Why would it count as rice for any car?

I've been told that "rice" is when you alter a Civic for looks with no performance benefit whatsoever. :light:

Don't worry, evident, yours isn't rice. :brokenheart: You didn't add a body kit or anything. Strict detailing is not rice IMO, and fog lamps do add some performance. :light:

I hate being a walking advertisement, but this is the best stuff you can get.

http://www.zainostore.com/

I have used it on all of our old corvettes, camaros, and the new cars. Simply the best.

Wizards for soap products, Zaino for wax.

$130 doesn't seem like a bad price. I really need to get my '79 Monte Carlo detailed, but I'll have to fix the driver-side window before that.

My wife's grandpa always used Meguiars soap and wax on it. Yoxxy, what makes your recommendations better, and what opinions do others have on this?

Edit: And your car looks nice BTW :)

Wizards soap doesn't leave streaks on your car, try meguair's on the glass. You will end up with streaks all over.

AS for Zaino there simply isn't anything like it. Having been to 100's of car shows people simply can not believe the shine you get out of the paint.

It is also the wax and polish they use in the Fast and Furious series even though no sponsorship money was given.
